Arrona Memorial Golf Tournament, benefiting the Aid to Women Center and St. John
Vianney Catholic School. This event will gather businesses, community members and
avid golfers for a day dedicated to the memory of Frank & Rita Arrona and the causes
they supported the most.
Event Overview:
The Frank & Rita Arrona Golf Tournament aims to raise funds to provide a scholarship
opportunity for a student attending St. John Vianney Catholic School in Goodyear, AZ.
We are also striving to raise funds to donate to the Aid to Women Center in Phoenix, AZ
where they provide care, support and educate women along their pregnancy journey as
well as assisting parents through parenthood.
Your generous sponsorship will help us exceed our fundraising goal of $10,000. This will
directly contribute to the mission of memorializing Frank & Rita Arrona while
supporting and honoring the causes they both believed in.
Frank & Rita Arrona both passed away in January 2021, within just days of one another.
They had been married 59 years and had 5 children, they built a home in Avondale, AZ
and set their Catholic roots in St. John Vianney Catholic Church. They believed in a good,
Catholic education for their children and the children of the future to reach their full
potential.
